Can You Geta Wart On Your Lip

language switching on iPhone text input

Although I thought that this is well known - the corresponding questions but I suggest to the contrary, that I have here a very valuable tip in my view, the iPhone would again write down explicitly.
Can not hurt.

The world is international, so it's almost natural that more and more people also texts and especially e-mails written in different languages , typically in German and English.

The iPhone has a wonderful spell checker and replaced sent "mutilated" word fragments and fairly accurately by the intended words. Unfortunately, this works but of course only in the language, ie mostly German.

This proves to be a problem one would like to write an English mail. Almost every correct word is getting teased by grotesque German alternative words, there remain fragments of sentences that can be understood only at a late hour, and under much influence of alcohol or wants.

raises the question of how to quickly switch the language.

this one goes to Settings> General> Keyboard> International Keyboards . Here you have the required languages (including associated keyboard) select, for example - as shown in the picture - German and English.

Then you have when writing a Mail next to the space bar a globe, by which you can switch between keyboards.

out a switch to English to check that from now all that follows in accordance with English spelling and replaced is a downshift in German (second click on the globe) returns accordingly.

As I said: Most of this will already know. For others, it is - at least from my own experience - a valuable tip that you can not repeat often enough ;-)
